Did you know that the most common form of air pollution in San Antonio is ground-level ozone? Ground level-ozone is a major component of smog that readily forms during warm, sunny days. Prolonged exposure to ground-level ozone can lead to harmful health effects in all populations, but especially the most vulnerable, including children, outdoor workers, the elderly, and people with respiratory illness. There are, however, many things residents of San Antonio can do to reduce ground-level ozone.
